TEMPLE SQUARE!

Last night a group of us went to Temple Square, walked around and enjoyed the lights as well as each other! We went to see the Joseph Smith movie after. Very moving. He was an amazing man, to be able to stay so strong through all of that! WOW! But most of all Emma!!! What an amazing woman! What amount of faith she had to have just from Joseph's word! Losing 5 children, and watching Joseph be tarred and feathered, moving from place to place... going through all of that, based on Joseph's word! Incredible amount of faith.
The temple was gorgeous of course. Every time I visit the temple it NEVER ceases to amaze me of its incredibility and its beauty! Every time I look at it, and go inside my heart grows for it more and more each time! There is NO doubt that when the pioneers built that temple that the Hand of God was in EVERY step of it. It is SO AMAZING!!!
There is a quote in the Joseph Smith movie that really stood out to me. It was while some of the persecutions that were going on towards Joseph and Joseph was wondering what to do, and Hyrum said something to Joseph that really struck me... He said, "Whatever happens, the Lord is in it."
Meaning that as long as we are doing what we are supposed to be doing, and following the Lord in all that we do, then everything WILL BE OK, IT WILL! And there is no need to fear because we are in the Hands of God!!! And he will take care of us! :)

This Last Sunday I had 4 tickets to The First Presidency Devotional and so I took some of my friends! It was fun! Afterwards we had some WELL bonding time sittin in the bottom level of the parking for 2 hours without moving a single inch. It was funny to watch the way people chose to entertain themselves during the wait. Lol.

GIRLS NIGHT!!

I Love our Girls' Nights! This month we went to Macaroni Grill! We were missing a few this month(Shayla and Alaina...& Stace of course because she lives in St. George) and even though we missed them it was still SO good to get together with everyone again! Every month, it NEVER gets old! :)

Thanksgiving was SO much fun!!!!

This year was Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family! And yes, we had thanksgiving in a church... again. (Don't think we'll ever be back in a house... unless someone buys a mansion.) We had LOTS of food... numm! Lunch/Dinner was at 1:30 and we played volleyball, basketball and cards all day till 10:30! All the kids had a BIG blow up bouncy jump/slide thing to play on! It was AWESOME!!

After all the scrumptious food me and some of my aunts and cousins went black friday shopping... AAAH! We have been doing it every year for a couple years now but this year was exceptional because we shopped from midnight until 12:30 the next day!!! Wow! I don't know how we did it. We were practically sleep walking! But, nevertheless it was fun. And the sleep thereafter was amazing! I slept for 21 hours!!!! 1:30 in the afternoon until 10:30 the next morning!

It was great! But next year, I vote for a lil shorter trip. :)

Last night I went to a life changing play. It was called "A Mighty Change of Heart" put on by the Stansbury Park Stake. It was the story of Alma and Abinadi and it was AMAZING. I felt the spirit SO strong throughout the entire thing. Needless to say, I balled the whole time. But I will be forever grateful for Brother Winters and everyone that put all their time into making this production. It was 2 years of work for them but if they knew how big of an impact it had on my life and so many others I know they would do it again in a heartbeat. It was one of the greatest things I have ever experienced in my life. I was touched so incredibly much by it. I can't be grateful enough that I went. It made me realize again so many things that I already knew, but in a new and different light. I am so grateful for that opportunity I had to go. It strengthened my testimony so much. It was definitely a tender mercy from the Lord. He is so great! His plan is so perfect! I wonder if I lived back then if I would have followed Abinadi? If I would have the courage to do what Abinadi did? Or if I would have followed King Noah and given into the ways of the world? It raises a lot of questions, but one thing I do know is that I can have that Faith right now, in today's world. And that even if I don't make a difference to anyone in my life but ONE person, then it is all worth it. It will make a difference; Just like Abinadi and Alma. I am so grateful for my Savior and that because of him I can return to him forever and be able to go to the temple & be with my family for eternity. I don't know where I would be with out my Family. Just yesterday, the high school coach of my summer team I coach got killed in a car accident. It hit me really hard. I feel for those girls and his daughter that I played with. It really set me back. Things like that can happen to any one of us, at any moment. I don't ever know what I would do if my Dad ever died. He means so much to me. It would be probably the hardest thing I would have to go through. But it is comforting to know that we can be with our family forever! FOREVER! We have that promise!! The Savior went through all He did so that I could be with my family for eternity. He makes it possible! Because he loves us SO much.. he loves ME so much! It is a lot to grasp. I am sure I don't even realize how much he loves me, but of what I DO feel... It overwhelms me. I am So blessed.
I want to say that I love you to all of my family and friends. You are in my life for a reason, and I thank you for everything that you have done. Even if it has been just a kind word or two, it has made a difference. And I hope that in some way I can make an impact in someone else's life like you have in mine.

Well folks... I gave in. And yes, I know I'm not married, and I feel really weird having a blog about myself but I found out I have a lot of family on here,as well as friends. So I will post info about my softball so family can stay updated and hear my version of the stories (vs. my dad's emails) :)
