I was just hoping and hoping that he would play "Love Story Meets Viva La Vida" (Taylor Swift & Coldplay)... an amazing arrangement he put together .... AND HE DID!!!! I was excited! But I am STILL waiting for the sheet music to come out so that I can learn it. Here are some pics of the event!

Playing with his toes... haha.

The Workman's House in Stansbury Park did a light show to his song "North Pole Express". He shows it in his concert while he plays the song.

His cute little girl Sarah, that he wrote "Love Story meets Viva La Vida" for, came out and sang a christmas song.

I STAND ALL AMAZED!

I absolutely love this video!
It is truly humbling to feel of His great love!!! I am SO grateful for His atonement and for the trials that he places in our path for us to be humbled and turn to Him, for He is the only way, and the ONLY thing that will be there when everything else might not be. I Love my Savior with ALL of my heart and am SO grateful for His atonement and the mercy He gives!!

Life As I Know It

SO,

I haven't blogged in a really long time... Yes, I am aware I am bad at it. ;) But I do enjoy it, so I am going to try and catch you up on the last couple months of my life.

1. In August school started up again and has been going well. However, I must admit that I have a HUGE case of SeNiOr-iTiS...and a mild case of self diagnosed A.D.D. ! UGH! But I will be graduating in the spring and it will be here before I know it! TIME IS FLYING!!!! Literally!... is that possible? Because I think it is.

2. The second week of school I got the SWINE FLU!
Yes... I was a Swiney for a while.

I was miserable considering I have never been sick in my life... I have never experienced the flu, strep, bronchitis... nothing. The most I have ever had is a little cold that lasts for a day or two. I was out for the count for about a week and a half... IN BED (at least my bed got some lovin) ... missing every day of school, weights, and practice!
TALK ABOUT DRIVE ME CRAZY!!!!

Thankfully, though, none of my roommates or family got sick. :)
And I am now immune from the SwineNasty :)

As for all of you that are still shakin in your boots.......
** A Red Mango a day keeps the Swine Flu away! **

3. The team this year is AWESOME and I am having SO much fun! Team chemistry is a complete turn around from last year! We went on a team camping trip in September up Big Cottonwood Canyon and it was great fun! We played some games with each other around the fire, got to know each other better... some a little too well ;) haha, and roasted marshmallows for smores and Starbursts (YUMM) , and went on a hike to Donut Falls in the morning. It was beautiful. It was a fun trip and we really enjoyed each other!

4. At the end of July, a new guy came into my life... He is AMAZING and I hope he stays in it for a VERY long time!

Wishing.. and Hoping... and crossin my fingers and heart that he does :)

BUT, I guess we will see what happens! :)

However, in the meantime we are having a great time together.

We went to the KEITH URBAN concert in September!

WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!

THAT'S RIGHT...

Be SOOOOO Jealous! Because it was AMAZING! :)

Here are some pics of the concert and just of us! :)

5. In October my PEGASUS team had a tournament in Huntington Beach, California. So, we went down there for a weekend. We got some beach time in and went to Disneyland and ESPN zone. It was fun and the girls did great! I am proud of them! :)

This food was SOOOOOO scrumptious!!!!

He Will Not Forsake Us

"Sometimes in the eternity to come we will see that our trials were calculated to cause us to turn to our Heavenly Father for strength and support. Any affliction or suffering we are called upon to bear may be directed to give us experience, refinement, and perfection."

"It isn't as bad as we sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us! If we put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers." -President Hinckley

DENVER

Through the 4th of July, my Pegasus team played in a tournament all week in Denver. It was fun. We took something like twenty-somethin place out of 300 teams. Despite ALL the ball games all week we found some time to go tubing down a white water river and go to the Rockies game on the 4th! :)

Just before the fireworks!

SUMMER HAPPENINGS

SO... I have been kind of a slacker blogging this summer. However, I have been keeping busy. To avoid a huge, unnecessary paragraph I will list the things I have been doing this summer in smaller paragraphs...(which aren't many because as you know.. my life generally consists of the same things.. all revolving around softball)! :)

1. I am taking summer classes. (That's right.. no break for the summer :-/) I am doing this because my major is 5 semesters and so in order to graduate at the end of my senior year (Spring 2010) I need to get a semester in this summer. I am taking Introduction to Coaching, Kinesiology, Global Citizens, and Fitness For Life. Ha Ha.

2. I am coaching a team called Utah Pegasus. We are 16 U team and I am really enjoying it. They are a great group of girls and I am learning a lot by coaching them. We are a really good team! We play in a Tuesday night league at SLCC and play tournaments not quite every weekend, but close. We just recently took 2nd in the state tournament.

3. When I am not coaching my team I am teaching lessons, which takes up the majority of my time. But it's good cuz it pays the bills and I LOVE doing it! :)

4. I am still living in Salt Lake in a house in Sugar House, but in August I am moving into a new condo just south of I-80 with 3 new roommates! I am excited for a new living adventure! :)

SENIOR DAY

Well the school year is over... FINALLY??? ... or... ALREADY??? A little bit of both. Glad to have it over, but yet it went SO unbelievably fast this year! We ended our year with a game against New Mexico at home, therefore it was also Senior Tribute Day. We decorated their lockers and had a "toast" before the game. We made these awesome scrapbooks for all of them where we all made our own pages and wrote letters to them of memories and why they are so fantastic :). After our game we had a big LUAU at Staci's house with all the families! The food was AMAZING and entertainment of the night was big SUMO wrestling suits! The party sure was a blast, but also where we all had to say our goodbyes... some for only a few months, and some for ever. I think the end came so fast it shocked us all! I don't know how ready we all were for the end and for the goodbyes. But never-the-less it came. It was definitely a bitter sweet day.

I can't believe it's my turn next year.

We will all miss and love you SENIORS!
